Since we started in 2002, Look Closer has built a team of exceptional people whose curiosity, rigour and commitment have been the foundation for our success. Our team includes experts with experience from private equity, journalism, intelligence, AI research and executive search, among other fields.
As globalisation has advanced, our work has increasingly extended beyond regional borders, and we regularly carry out projects on every continent. Clients across a range of industries rely on us for confidence in acquisitions, key recruitments, investigations and other business-critical decisions, anywhere in the world.

Authorisation to handle sensitive data
Look Closer holds a permit from the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) to process particularly sensitive personal data, including data relating to criminal offences. This means that our handling of such information has been reviewed and approved by the supervisory authority.

Björn Modée
MANAGING PARTNER
Before joining Look Closer in 2009, Björn held several senior positions at research and business intelligence firms in Sweden, Norway and the United Kingdom. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Arun Kaul
PARTNER & CFO
Arun joined Look Closer in 2016 after a decade and a half in private equity with AB Segulah in Sweden and Duke Street Capital in the United Kingdom. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a BSc in Business Administration from Stockholm University.
Charlotta Eriksson
PARTNER
Charlotta joined Look Closer in 2025, after more than twenty years in a range of senior positions in the retail sector. For the last nine of those she was the CEO of a premium retail business. She holds an MSc in Criminology and a BSc in Political Science from Stockholm University, as well as an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
